Terms of Contract

Contract Type: Full-time contractor (up to 40 hours per week). 3 month contract, with opportunities to transition to W-2 employment for eligible U.S.-based candidates
Location: Open worldwide (long-term W-2 opportunities available only for U.S.-based developers)
Availability: Must have at least 4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (currently UTC-4 / EDT) to coordinate with our team in real-time

About the Role

Join our development team as a Laravel/Vue Developer , where you’ll contribute to impactful projects using modern technologies. This role is ideal for someone who takes full ownership of their work, consistently delivers high-quality code with minimal oversight, and communicates clearly and frequently.

While we don’t micromanage, we do expect developers to be self-directed, manage their workload efficiently, and commit working code daily. Equally important is knowing when to raise your hand, whether you need clarification, spot a blocker, or feel yourself heading down a rabbit hole. Proactive communication and collaborative problem-solving are key to keeping our projects on track.

Our Process/Typical Day

Review tickets written by BAs and Systems Architects (focused on functionality, not prescriptive code requirements)
Work through assigned tickets and push production-ready code daily
Use Slack or ClickUp to clarify requirements and coordinate with the team
Raise blockers or questions early to avoid delays
Post end-of-day check-ins to share progress and surface issues

Tech Stack Requirements

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate extreme proficiency in the latest versions of:

Laravel
VueJS
TailwindCSS

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

Azure/AWS and dev-ops expertise
Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs and tools
Experience with HIPAA compliance, handling PHI , and working within regulated medical software environments
Hardware integration experience (local candidates only)
Familiarity with NetSuite integrations
Exposure to .NET technologies

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain applications using Laravel and VueJS.
Handle complex data migrations and programmatic image manipulation as needed.
Collaborate with the team to integrate third-party services.
Ensure scalable, efficient, and maintainable code practices.
