Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to transform our data into valuable insights that will support us in making informed business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

Identify, Interpret, and analyze data in complex data sets and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Understand the business vision and insight requirements and collect requirements for new data analyses accordingly
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems, ensuring that outdated portfolios are updated while unneeded reports are archived.
Express complex business and technical cases in a clear manner
Working on project-based tasks, and independently handling multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the data.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Independently write queries (demonstrates high competency in SQL)
Discover workarounds and solutions for complicated projects and MVPs
Write executive summaries with the conclusions of the data analysis produced.
Investigate the landscape, choose and implement the best solution

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

Must be a proficient communicator in English
Previous experience as a Data Analyst or any related field
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Knowledge & Competency

Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL
Knowledge of statistics and experience using spreadsheets for analyzing datasets (Excel, google sheets)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
Outstanding communication and presentation skills; is comfortable with presenting their work in public
Display good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization
Must be able to work under pressure and manage time accordingly
Strong time-management skills
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of managing multiple tasks
