Job Overview

The role involves carrying out quality body painting as instructed in the job card and conducting preliminary inspections after finalizing the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Painting is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum experience of 3-5 years in similar jobs.

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge in paint mixing & paint codes.
• Organized & time managed.
• Deals with customer property with care.
• Oven experience as painter in the automotive industry.
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Commit to the work schedules and instructions provided by the ABS Supervisor and ABS Manager.
• Responsible for diligently filling and soothing the body of vehicles and spraying primer material before painting the vehicle.
• Responsible for accurately taping body parts & accessories that do not require painting and make sure that the tape is not covering any area needed to be painted.
• Perform preliminary quality inspection on the paint job.
• Polish the body of vehicle after finishing the paint job and taking the approval of the ABS Supervisor.
• Performs preliminary quality inspection on the conducted jobs when finished.
• Inform the ABS Supervisor of any difficulties faced during painting activities.
• Inspect and maintain tools and other painting equipment’s; the Auto painter shall directly inform the Workshop Supervisor of any abnormalities in the tools and machines used for painting.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintains an orderly and clean work area.
• Shall be knowledgeable of A.A. Bin Hindi internal procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as agreed upon by the Division Manager and Job holder.
